Moderated Windows GPO and JAWS

We have a network version of jaws with Windows managed desktops/laptops using Windows Group Policy. Most users do not have administrator privileges. So when a user needs to update JAWS, or change a voice profile, or almost any JAWS configuration change they must get an administrator to apply the change. Any advice, resources, or recommendations?

Hey.

I didn’t’ see any response to this until now and just came across this message again.

I’m not really a networking guy and eventaully I did ask for and receive local admin privileges on my work machines.

However this wasn’t really needed to adjust JAWS settings, but rather do other stuff on the machine pertaining to windows.

For JAWS, I’m 99% sure you can simply have it installed on a person’s user profile and thus any changes the user makes pertain solely to that profile.

I don’t know what needs to be done during instalation. I’m also guessing this might only work with JAWs professional. This might be something Freedom  Scientific support can help with, but it should be pretty simple to accomplish.
