Moderated **** [SUSPECTED SPAM] ****Question On Adobe Acrobat Reader
If you don’t’ have the DC version, I think you’re actually better off.
By all means, find out what version it is in terms of version number. You defintiely would want a recent one. But DC just means it’s the subscription version.
Perhaps you need to adjust the accessibility settings in acrobat. I don’t remember exactly how those work, but they should be in preferences, and from what I remember, it’s pretty straightforward. If you get stuck, I believe that Freedom Scientific or whatever they call themselves now has one of those training things about using the programme.

Subject: **** [SUSPECTED SPAM] ****Question On Adobe Acrobat Reader
Hello, everyone.
As some of you may remember, I’m setting up a new Windows 11 laptop here.
When I got the laptop, I asked that my technical support help install Adobe Acrobat DC on this computer for easy PDF reading.
However, I think they installed the plain Adobe Acrobat app, not Adobe Acrobat DC.
How can I tell if this is true?
And, can someone send me a link for Adobe Acrobat DC?
When I try to open PDF files, I don’t get the usual screen which asks me how I want to read the file, and even if I open PDF files, I find reading to be quite difficult.
Thanks for any help.

Thanks, JM.
I am trying to figure out how to get back to the document reading preferences, since Control K now puts me in another unrelated set of options.

Hey Tom.
From what I remember, there is a tree view that contains each category of preferences. It has been a while, though,a nd the programme may have changed a bit.
