Moderated setting default email account

Hello, I’ using the most recent windows10, Jaws2023 and Office 2016. I want to change the default email address. I used the instructions I found on the internet. I pressed alt f, moved to account settings, then account settings again. It then said to move down to set default. There is no set default. I looked in the other tabs and couldn’t find anything. Is there a different way to make this change? Thanks, Kevin

Hi Kevin,

I’m using Microsoft 365 but I just checked in account settings and it seems like the only way to set a default account is to add another account and set it as the default.

In Outlook 2016, after you have gained focus on the account that you wish to have set as default you then SHIFT + TAB back to the "Set as Default" button and activate it.

If you are on the account that is currently set as default that button will not be accessible, as you cannot set what's already the default account as such again.

I recoil from any definition of the relationship between artist and audience that is predicated on the audience claiming a sense of betrayal over who someone is or isn’t outside of the context in which they’re performing. What we know about an artist’s personal identity can be interesting and even illuminating; what we are entitled to know is … nothing, basically.
