Moderated Problem with a Web Page

Hi Everyone,

 

I want to view the adoptable pets at https://apamo.org/

 

When I enter on the link, some sort of pop-up or something comes up which I cannot close.  I am not able to get to the list of pets.  I have tried using both Chrome and Firefox with the same results.

 

I am on a Windows 10 computer using JAWS 2023.

 

Any ideas how to get to the pet page?

I did and that seems to take me back to the original web page.  Am I missing something?

Hi,

I am  a Jaws 2023, Windows 10 user.

When I go to:

https://apamo.org/

after the page loads,

I can go to the bottom of the page and there is a link that says ( here )
 and beneath that there is a close button.


If I click on the close button, the main page appears with

around 39 links as reported by insert f7

one of the ADOPTION links is 4 of 39

Barbara,

 

As you’ve been pointing out, each link on the homepage that might be the answer takes you right back to that popup. I couldn’t figure out an answer, so I asked my sighted wife to try finding it on her Mac. She had exactly the same experience. In short, this isn’t a JAWS problem, but one for anyone who visits this website.

 

In my experience, websites run by small organizations are often problematical on weekends. You might try again in the morning, or you might call them, or both. I notice the December 12 deadline, and so if you’re looking to obtain a pet, I understand your urgency.
