Thanks to Adrian and JM, I believe I have now resolved my problem with regard to converting a PDF file to a Word file on my new Lenovo Windows 11 laptop.
I’ve now set Microsoft Word as my default reader of PDF files on both my old Windows 10 PC and on the new Lenovo Windows 11 laptop.
And, I find that I can now successfully convert a PDF file to a Word file on both computers.
