moderated Outlook red flag
John Doering
Hello: I am using Outlook 365 JAWS 2019 and Windows 10. I am accidentally hitting something that puts a red flag on some of my messages in my in box. Is there an easy way to turn off this red flag? Thanks in advance.
Regards,

Hi, John. Are you by any chance pressing ALT, H, H, or ALT, H, L at any time during the composition of your message? if so, this is a toggle, and pressing ALT, H, H, or ALT, H, L will uncheck these flags.
It could also be a setting in one of the rules you have for creating and sorting messages, if you are using rules in Outlook.

Yes, Highlightt the message in your Inbox, bring up your application menu and arrow to Follow Up Submenu and there you should find an option to remove the Flag.

Still wonder how you are accidentally triggering it. I use follow-up flags deliberately, so I’m used to seeing that red flag on overdue items, but the two ways I know to flag something are with the context menu or with Alt H, W.

Hey everyone You can flag an item with Control + Shift + G, but it would be obvious because flagging options appear. The default choice is "Follow up". Cheers Ben
