I am also having this problem in Outlook 365. JAWS 2022 is reading names from the recent contacts pop-up while I am trying to write within the body of a draft message. I recall this same problem a few years ago. I unfortunately do not recall the solution. Memory was that the MS Answer desk had a way to turn off the unnecessary recent contacts pop-up without disabling the indispensable auto complete in the recipient fields. They are not the same feature. |

Not a permanent solution but when that happens, try restarting JAWS with an insert, spacebar, F4 to refresh the scripts. That has worked for me in the past.

I recently have experienced this issue as well, and would be interested in any fixes anyone can suggest.
It is quite distracting.
The only way I can correct the issue is to exit and then re-load Jaws.
This leads me to believe it is a Jaws issue, but I can’t document that for sure.

Hi Again,
I just encountered it again, and I refreshed JAWS using the insert space F4 combination, and it did solve it – at least temporarily.

Sometimes, when I’m typing in the body of an e-mail, Jaws occasionally interrupts and starts speaking the contact info from the recent people contacts popup.
If I exit out of Jaws, and then go back in, the issue goes away.
I think it’s a Jaws issue.

While I have you here, is there a way to depopulate that recent users list? Of course, I'm talking about the people pop up thing that comes up when you compose a message. This is in Microsoft people.
