Moderated One Drive File Deletion Question
Hi again, everyone.
Sorry for yet another question, but I’m in learning mode here with regard to using One Drive storage.
Yesterday, when I deleted a bunch of files from my one drive personal account, they were deleted from my new Windows 11 laptop, but I kept getting a notification asking me if I wanted to delete the files on line as well.
This is what I also want to do, but when I hit enter on the yes in response to the notification question, nothing happens, and the deletion notification re-appears.
Is there a way to be sure deleted files are deleted on line as well as on your PC, and if so, how do I accomplish this?
Is there a separate online re-cycle bin on one drive itself, and if so, how do I get to it?
I appreciate everyone’s patience with all my questions lately, but I’m getting there one step at a time.

Check your settings in “One Drive”. I believe there you can determine if files are kept online and only deleted from that computer.

You’re probably right.
Now, I have to figure out how to get to the one drive settings.

I found a re-cycle bin on my onedrive web site, and once I emptied that, everything was ok.
The learning continues here.

Tom,
If you keep tabbing in the window, is there a yes to all?
Also, perhaps if you use the applications key, instead of the delete key, it is possible that you will get more delete options.
HTH.
