Hi everyone,
I remember there was talk about a dealer located in BC that would allow me to upgrade my Jaws license and buy an SMA. If I remember right the person I chatted with was named Mike. I regretfully lost the info as it pertains to that but my experience was absolutely fantastic and I'm curious if they are still in operation?
This is a stark contrast to the dealer located in Quebec that Freedom Scientific transferred me to the time before that - completely unprofessional, did not return phone calls and as it turned out charged me more than the dealer in BC.
I'm currently running Jaws 2021. If memory serves, I upgrade to 2022 followed by purchasing an SMA that will allow me to keep going until 2024?

I just called and talked to Ryan. Great to deal with and did renew my SMA as well.

If anyone wasn’t aware we also have the option in Canada to use the annual licensing options that were previously only available in the US. However since I have remote desktop upgrades and the Jaws dongle attached to my serial number, combined with the amount I’ve already invested,  I went this route.

I discussed with Ryan the benefits and drawbacks to getting an annual license that a lot are touting. For me at least the SMA is more cost effective.  Why should I pay around $100 per year when the SMA only costs me $165 for 2 years. Not sure about other agencies however, since I’m registered with the CNIB, I pay no taxes on the $165. All Rian needed was my CNIB registration # to have the taxes waved.
