[Bulk] jaws resolution

Dave...

Adrian,

Not Ted, but it's been my practice to never stray away from 1024x768 32
million colors. In the old days of JAWS 4,5,6 or so, there was a limitation
to what resolution JAWS could handle. However in later versions this seems
to have either gone away or not been as important.

Having said that, if you call FS Tech Support, 95% or so of their phone
supporters will tell you that for Windows XP to set to 1024x768 32M and a
few other display settings, as well.

For Windows 7, I cannot say, but may be forced to later.

Ted, are you referring specifically to Windows 7? Dorothy apparently knows
what you say here with regard to XP. I'm still using XP and can't answer her
question myself.

If you're using LCD, these units default to their maximum resolution.
Most today are high, or at least advanced, definition, with many maxing
out in the neighborhood of 1080X1920. Manufacturers usually recommend
leaving them alone, although changes can be easily implemented through
Control Panel.

Dear list can you explain if when using Jaws 12 or 11 and windows 7 and
ms
outlook what importance is the resolution, I know it matters in xp, but
I
get the impression it is not of great importance in windows 7 . The
resolution of the screen is not the same is it? I think some have a
fixed
resolution, thanks Dorothy

I see I wasn't clear, though I was just trying to gain clarity for Dorothy.
I know about XP screen resolution settings, as does she. Her question is
specifically about Windows 7.
