Jaws Reporting Revised and End Revised In Word

Mike B. #103022 Hi All, This is a question asked on another list and can anyone on this list help this young lady out with a fix? Hi List Running Windows 10 Office 365 Word Jaws 2021 now saying Revised and End Revised?. A little while ago my Jaws announces while I am accessing a Word document and, if I have made any change, to it then where it happened, Jaws will now announce just before it, “Revised” and after it will say “End Revised”. This happens on all of my documents. For instance, I have a Word document that lists all of the grocery store items I might want and I simply go through it each week and copy those that I need onto a new document for this week. However, even the act of “selecting and copying an item, means that the item from that moment on now will have the “Revised” and “Endrevise” spoken. These documents are not being shared with anyone and this has only shown up relatively recently. I can’t think what I could have done to start this and as far as I can tell, this is not connected to Spell Check. That has been active for all the time that I have been using this computer and Jaws. Curtis Chong #103023 You probably have track changes turned on. Try control shift e in the document to see if you can turn it off. Steve Nutt #103035 Hi Mike, Try the following:- Go into Word. Press Alt Q to get into the search box and type the word “revisions” without the quotes, but don’t press enter. Having done that, down arrow to “Insertions And Deletions”, which will be checked. Uncheck it by pressing the space bar, then press enter. Job done, I hope.
