Moderated JAWS pronouncing "cap" when holding down shift key with letter
Shai
Hello,
A student of mine is trying to have JAWS pronounce "cap" without the quotation marks when they press the shift key and enter a letter to be capitalized. The voice used has a slight inflection that they have difficulty discerning. Is there a means of doing this? dialog, jaws+j, options, voices, voice adjustment. I am pretty sure there is a way to make jaws say "Cap <letter>" but I haven't been able to find any such setting. On 3/4/23, Shai <shaiwol@...> wrote:

The fix for this lies in modifying or creating a Sound Scheme where capital letters can be identified with cap or associated with a sound. I learned this by contacting Vispero Technical Support. Kind regards, Curtis Chong -----Original Message-----
