I use Winamp to play audio and video files here, and I understand that a new updated version of the app was recently released.

I’m still using version 5.66, because it seems to work quite well for what I need.

I am willing to try the updated version, but whenever I try to do the update function via the update now option on the app, I get a Windows exception handling error message.

So, I have two questions:

1.  Is the newest version of the app accessible with Jaws, or would I be best off sticking with version 5.66?

And

2.  If the new version is accessible, does anyone have a link to the executable file?

I’m using the latest version of Jaws 2023 on a Windows 10 PC.

Is anyone else having focus issues with Jaws 2023 and facebook messenger on Browsers?

One moment I’m on the edit box to type a message then Jaws starts scrolling and reading me messages from that person I’m chatting too with messages from days ago, gone back to Jaws 2022 and its stable and where I put my cursor it stays put with 2022 but with even this latest version update of Jaws 2023 its still not staying where I want the cursor too, is there a setting that 2023 has that I can turn on or off to make it work like 2022.

In JAWS quick settings (JAWS key-v) when this program is in focus, is there a “Page refresh” option? If so, and if it’s checked, maybe uncheck it and see if it stops continual updating.

Unchecking that option will stop the page from refreshing. But as you navigate over the timeline, you will then be limited to a few posts without the page refresh option turn on.

Agreed. It’s a dilemma. But the box can always be unchecked after an initial read. Or, Cornelius, do you find you can manage these pages even as they keep reloading?
