Is there a keystroke to make openbook talk faster/pitch

Doug

Hello Listers,
Is there a keystroke to make openbook to talk faster, and change the pitch?

I have openbook 7.02 and Windows XP.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Doug, yes, it is in your tool menu in Open book.
go to settings and then to general, the there you will find rate, pitch, etc...
once you have checked or completed your keys, you need to go to the save menu and save them.
I had to learn by playing around, sorry if this doesn't help, but i don't know the strokes by memory.
I do know that is in the tool menu in open book, and under "settings"

Hi Doug,

1. With Openbook open, press Alt + G, for General Settings.

2. Press the letter P, for speech settings, or after pressing Alt + G, arrow
down to speech settings & press enter.
3. Tab to the appropriate comboboxes, make your changes, tab to apply, press
the spacebar, tab to okay & press the spacebar.
4. Press Alt + G again, press the letter S, for Save your changes, tab to
save , press the spacebar, & say yes to the dialog that comes up.
