Thanks, for me the jaws key in the combination does not work. Instead I use the insert key, and it works!

Sorry, I was using the insert key. I just called it the Jaws key. Didn't know there was a difference.

The Proof Reading scheme is one of several factory-created voice schemes.

Proof Reading can be helpful. The voice changes with different attributes, e.g., bold, italics, underlining. It also enunciates capitalization in a more precise way than does the classic (default) voice scheme. In other words, it says "Cap" prior to a word with an initial capital letter and "Solid Caps" for a word in solid capital letters.

Once you press the Voice Scheme key, Insert plus Alt plus S, either arrow down or press the letter "P". This will bring you to the first of the three proofreading schemes. I typically use "font and attributes," because in legal documents, I want to know what is in bold, what is underlined, and whether the font has changed. This one announces "Cap" and "Solid Caps" respectively to take the ambiguity out of determining the state of capitalization. I have not tried the other proofreading schemes, but I would be surprised if they treat capitalization any differently.
