Moderated Interesting use for picture smart

Hi everyone!
It worked for this one but I won't guarantee that it will work for all of them. While filling out a contact form I encountered a CAPTCHA and decided to see if picture smart could decipher what I needed to enter and for a wonder it did! JAWS tells me I'm on an image, I don't know fir certain that the graphic is the CAPTCHA but the picture smart results should tell you.

Hi Gene, That’s a very imaginative use of Picture Smart. I will try it out next time I run into an obnoxious visual CAPTCHA. As you say, results my vary. I have heard sighted people complain that some of these are not very clear visually, so I imagine that could screw things up. But certainly worth a try. Regards, David

Whenever I encounter a CAPTCHA I first look for an audio challenge and use that, but many CAPTCHA systems don't offer audio challenges so this is a step I try before calling for sighted assistance.

I did try CAPTCHA Be Gone by the same guy who produces QRead, but when I ran into a problem and could not get support, all my emails went unanswered, I canceled my subscription to it.
