Moderated Installing JAWS using Narrator.

               Hello Listers,

 

Some time ago, someone on this list said that JAWS does not speak every step in installing a new version of JAWS, but Narrator does so. I recently installed the JAWS February update using Narrator, but had to have sighted help to run it because Narrator did not speak all the steps. Is there some settings in Narrator that need to be changed from the defaults to make it speak all the steps? I use a Lenovo laptop with Windows 10, and the most recent versions of JAWS and Narrator.

Hello TJ,

Whoops! I started installing an old version of Jaws to review what steps don't speak, and lo and behold, the steps all started speaking. Thanks for your help.
