moderated how do you test your internal microphone in zoom to confirm the mike is working properly?

Open zoom.
Hit control tab until you hear "home tab".
Tab to the settings button and hit enter.
I had to tab once then to get to where it says General.
Arrow down to audio and hit enter.
Then, tab through the audio settings where you will be able to test your speakers, set the volume, and test your microphone by tabbing to the appropriate buttons and hitting enter and following instructions.

In zoom when you are not yet in an active zoom meeting, Using jaws, how does a person go about testing their internal microphone in zoom to confirm that indeed your computer internal microphone is working properly so that other meeting participants when you are in an active meeting will for sure indeed here you loud and clear talk to them properly? Any help I can maybe get with this would be so very much appreciated! Much, much thanks in advance for any possible help with this particular concern when using zoom.

When I'm using JAWS with Zoom so often throughout the meeting it tells
me that someone has left the meeting, someone's bandwidth is low or
someone's microphone is muted, etc. Having these messages go through a
Zoom meeting several dozen or hundred times is just unworkable. Does
anyone know if there is anywhere in the settings center I'm missing
how to shut these messages off? I don't want to turn JAWS off to the
"Speech on Demand" because I'm working with a Word document while in
the meeting and need JAWS to talk to me, just without these nonstop
notifications.
