Moderated Help with Folders in Windows 10 Mail please
Hi, On occasion when I navigate to one of my folders where I have saved selected email’s, there are no folders shown although I know the folder contains messages. On occasion, a restart will correct this annoyance.
Is there a setting to check or some other navigation procedure that would address this issue?
Thanks for any suggestion. Mitch
PS Just adding my usual disclaimer that I am not in the market for an alternate email client.

Hi, Dave. What screen reader are you using? Have you tried exiting and restarting your screen reader, to make sure this isn't a screen reader issue, rather than a Windows issue?

Thanks Bill and sorry I neglected to mention that I tried your idea with JAWS 21, 22 and even the 23 Beta without effect for now.
In the past, sometimes when I return to the folder, the saved messages magically reappear but the folder in question is keeping my message list a temporary secret. Mitch

I missed the original message, but when I cannot locate a folder in Outlook I know is there I do the following:
- Press Control+Y (like you want to change the folder).
- 2. If when you press up/down-arrow you cannot find the folder you are looking for arrow to the in-box.
- 3. Press right-arrow.
- 4. Now arrow up/down the list of message folder again.
- 5. When you see the folder you are looking for press enter. Task accomplished.
Oh yes, I am using Jaws 2022 with outlook 365.
HTH.

Thanks Eileen, I can find the list of folders and they are all there including their saved email’s except the one folder that contains a number of email’s I need to review. FWIW, many of these emails have PDF attachments. Mitch
