Moderated Freedomscientific document and camera driver
Good afternoon, listers, Brian Zolo here in Gahanna, Ohio. Go to freedomscientific.com and then go to downloads and then go to hardware drivers and you’ll want to download the first driver. Then just run it and install it and you should then be able to use whatever camera or scanner you have with jaws ocr. BZ!

Hello Tom:
According to what I am reading on the download page for Freedom Scientific Document Camera Driver (FSCamDSBridge) for KNFB Reader and other Third-party Video Apps,
“FSCamDSBridge is a file that must be installed on your computer to use Freedom Scientific document cameras and video magnifiers with third-party Windows video applications. It is a background service that allows the software to recognize your camera or magnifier. For example, after you install the file, you can select and use PEARL as your document camera with the KNFB Reader for Windows 10 app. When running Fusion or ZoomText software, you can select PEARL and use it to magnify books, magazines, and other documents. And with Fusion's OCR feature, you can use PEARL as your OCR camera.”
This does not sound like a driver which enables JAWS to talk to your scanner. BTW, what brand of scanner are you using, and how is it connected to the computer?
Best wishes,
Curtis Chong

Can you give us the specific error message you are seeing with OpenBook?
