Are you using the "service station" software that comes from you computer manufacturer, e.g., Lenovo Vantage, HP Support Assistant, to keep all of your drivers and UEFI/BIOS up-to-date? If not, then get to your computer's maker's support pages for your make and model and download that software and get it set up.
The importance of keeping all aspects of a computer system up to date cannot be overstated.

I've made sure even optional updates have run, and now I've run the Jaws repair. I'll see in a few days if that worked or not.
And I have a Lenovo, and all of its drivers are up-to-date.

Ok, well just make sure you're getting the drivers either from Lenovo
Vantage or via Lenovo's website, make sure if you get them from the
website that they are the exact drivers for your laptop. Windows
offers driver updates, but Lenovo often has newer drivers.
Lenovo Vantage also offers bios updates.

Well in that case I'd recommend running Dism/sfc. If that doesn't work you can boot into safe mode and try and repair Windows. If all else fails you can create a bootable usb and reinstall Windows. The Microsoft disability answer desk can help you access the bios and change the boot order to allow your machine to boot from a usb first.
I am, and my bios is up to date.

On any Windows machine running Windows 10 or later, when issues inexplicably present themselves “out of the blue” and with seemingly no reason, these are the two things I recommend doing, in order:
1. Using DISM (Deployment Imaging Servicing and Management) and SFC (System File Checker) to Repair Windows 8.1, 10 & 11
2. Performing a Windows 10 or 11 Repair Install or Feature Update Using the Windows ISO file
If #1 fixes the issue, #2 is unnecessary.
