It is, because laptop mode, aside from all the other benefits, allows you to use the right hand home keys and surrounding keys, to act as the number pad when the caps lock is down.

Keyboard manager is insert 8 on the number row, but I just went into it, and insert is there, but when I try to add a keystroke, my insert isn't seen as a keystroke.

You would find insert by pressing I and down arrowing to insert and tap the applications key, and add keystroke.

Maybe you can add the keystroke you said that key is doing, what was it?

alt windows + Q?

And maybe then that insert key will do the insert action.

If you focus on the desktop and press Jaws to focus on the Jaws icon and enter, it will put you in the Jaws screen.

Or your Jaws hotkey should do this too.

You should hear it say options.

Down arrow once to utilities, and right  arrow into utilities, and down arrow to keyboard manager and enter.

There's probably another hotkey for keyboard manager, but I don't use it often enough to know it.

You should be able to do all three keys of the keystroke, so do the three keys at once, like you are doing that action.
