Moderated Capslock key in desktop layout?
Ann Byrne
Can I use caps lock as the JAWS key on the desktop, without using lap top mode?

No. I don’t think you can. However, you can put it in the laptop mode and still use your desktop commands

He will still have the ability to use the number pad jaws commands at your disposal. On Dec 28, 2022, at 5:25 PM, Ann Byrne <annakb@...> wrote: |

Yes, you can, but someone else suggested to use laptop layout when using a desktop and this is maybe a better option, because you can use insert or capslock this way. If you want to use capslock as the jaws key: Go to settingscenter, press ctrl-shift-d for default settings and type: jaws key arrow down to Jaws key for dessktop layout and change it with space to capslock. Yes, you can use the Caps Loc key as your modifier key in Desktop mode. It works with no issues here.
