Moderated can't click on driver magician download link with using Jaws, NVDA, Narrator, chrome, firefox, and edge

molly the blind tech lover

Greetings.
I can't seem to download driver magician on my Windows 11 laptop. The
download links appear to be broken. After clicking on the download
link, there's another link that says "click here". When I click on
"click here" link nothing happens. Jaws does not say anything. My
brother tried clicking the link with the mouse, and nothing happened.
We are using Windows 11 version 22h2, and Jaws 2023, and Google
Chrome, latest stable version.
I also tried clicking the links using edge and firefox, and NVDA and
Narrator. edge and firefox, and the download links do not appear to
work.
Can someone please take a look? Here's the link.

Thanks.
Regards
Molly

I couldn't activate your link by any means. That's strange. You can't activate it with any browser I can't even activate it from within the email to open a browser.

The link represented by the Click Here hyperlink is http://www.drivermagician.com/DriverMagician.exe

I get nothing when I click on the Click Here link on https://www.drivermagician.com/download.htm
And I mean nothing whatsoever.  This is under Vivaldi and I am running Windows 11.  On my partner's machine, running Windows 10, if I click on it nothing downloads, either.  The link is bad/broken.

And this is doing it via point-and-click, so it's not a screen reader based issue.

Hi. Good to hear from you!
I don't know why the links are not working.
I am desperately trying to determine the cause of the kernel power 41
63 error on my win 11 laptop, and I figured downloading a driver
update utility to install any outdated drivers might help. Guess I was
wrong.

You may not need that tool at all. If, after reinstalling Windows, you're getting the same power error, drivers are not the cause, since Windows reinstalls all device drivers when it first installs.
Have you tried scanning for hardware changes in Device Manager?

Try right clicking on the 'click here' link, then choose 'save as'. You should then get a save as dialog asking where you want to save a file called 'DriverMagician.exe'.

This is while using JAWS and Edge, if you are using a different browser, the sequence of steps may be slightly different.

DISM/SFC won't fix a broken download link, as that has to do with the
webpage, not file corruption in Windows.

It is utterly bizarre that the standalone link for that download, when copied, works, but it still doesn't work via the "Click Here" on the source webpage.

Heaven only knows what's going on with that webpage, but the maintainer needs to fix something, as their download link as presented there does not download.
