screenreader.
Of course, since you are already a smile member,
you can't test it on your computer or any computer you have used to log into
Amazon with.
But I have tried and tried several times for over a
year to find it on the page, and it was never there.
I even went into my Amazon account and looked for
it there.
But for the sighted, according to the sighted folk
in the local club, you simply click on the Amazon smile on the
page.
Well friends, it just never happened for me, it
wasn't until I got that link that it worked.

smile be it for their church, favorite charity, a social club, and probably some of the blindness organizations, their chapters and affiliates, and even some of the non-profits that serve the blind community on a regular basis. |

Does anyone know,
If you use your Amazon Alexa device to re-order
something, does it use Smile if you have the Smile Amazon set to your
account?
I get refills of some supplements and I like to
just tell my echo to order this or that, and it finds the last instance of that
item and I can just tell it to order it, but I will not do that if it does not
use the Smile that I just set to my account.

I doubt having it set to your account is enough. Anytime I want Smile applied I have to physically log into it. If I place an order on the pc on the regular Amazon side, it doesn't get credited. d |

I have never seen such, and I just checked in an incognito window (so there was no chance of something showing up because I was recognized as an existing member) and no such indicator is there. I read about Amazon Smile somewhere, maybe the New York Times, and sought it out via URL afterward. You have to be enrolled in Amazon Smile to use it. You should be able to do a search for it. It is a way for a portion of your purchases in dollars you spend, to benefit charities you choose. I use it all of the time for my church. Larry

Ditto to Brian's comments on discovering Amazon Smile: My sighted wife heard about from someone and we had to figure out how to initially sign up. So, at least in the past, it was word of mouth or through some 3rd party mention that one became aware of it. Amazon didn't hit you in the face every time you were on a page encouraging one to use it. |

I don’t recall ever seeing the prompt either. I honestly forget about it most times. When I do remember it, I’ll often load up my cart in the regular site and/or via my phone app, then go to the URL Smile.amazon.com which has my charity registered, and get to my cart from there to complete the purchase.
