Hi list, after pressing insert and 1
key I can switch jaws to characters words or non How can I keep what ever
setting I want like when I am playing winamp, make jaws stop talking when I
press the space bar or turn that setting off or on when I ault tab it goes back
to the speak no matter what key I press.

If you wish to restrict or stop the speaking key
lables and other Winamp messages being spoken, you need to change the level of
speech verbosity for Winamp.
Start Winamp.
Press JAWS KEY+6 on the main keyboard, to open the
settings Centre file for Winamp.
Tap the TAB key once, to move to the Tree
View.
Tap the letter S, to highlight Speech Verbosity.
JAWS will tell you that the submenu is closed.
Tap the RIGHT ARROW key once, to open the
submenu.
Tap the DOWN ARROW key once, to highlight the
Speech Verbosity level option. The default level is: "Verbosity Level Beginner, Highest".
Tap the SPACE BAR, to cycle to either Intermediate
or, Advanced verbosity levels. I have my verbosity level for Winamp set to
Advanced.
When you have made your choice, TAB to the Apply
button and tap the SPACE BAR, to apply the change, then TAB to the OK
Button, and either tap the SPACE BAR or, the ENTER key, to close the Settings
Centre.
