Moderated Home Annual License and Authorizing on Two Computers
Mike B.
Hi All,
A friend purchased a JAWS annual License,
can she use the same JAWS license on two different Computers? IF so,
how can she authorize JAWS on the second computer?
When I try logging into her FS Account Portal on
the second computer I get a message stating that her email address and password
aren't recognized...
No matter what we try on the second computer we're
asked to create an account and password, but she has an account that she created
when authorizing Jaws on the first computer, and this is the account that's not
recognized on the second computer.
All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks mooy
moocho, and the very happiest of New Years to all.
Take care. Mike. Sent from my
iBarstool.

Hi Mike,
Happy new year to you and yours, Yes it can be used on 3 computers
I've helped a few people do it.
the way to install and activate it on all of them is to log in to the
FS portal page or what ever they call it, then download the executable
license activator after the log in.
Use the same file to activate all of them.

Hi Hareth,
I can't log in! When I try to log into her
account from the new computer I keep getting a message that the email address or
password isn't recognized and create new account crap!
She has not mentioned anything about any
down-loadable file so, let me ask this question. If she logs into her FS
portal account from the original account on the first computer will she be able
to download this activation file?
Thank you so very much, I think you've got me
heading in the right direction!
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool.

Hi Mike,
Sorry for the difficulties you're experiencing trying to get your friend's JAWS license activated on a second computer. I won't be surprised if your friend has difficulty signing in on her first computer with the user ID and password you are trying. Might this issue be that you were given an incorrect user ID or password?

Hi Alan,
Actually on the original computer logging in is no
problem. Now that I know what to look for and how to go about it I think I
can walk her through the process of getting that second computer
authorized.
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool.

Might this issue be that you were given an incorrect user ID or password? Or it is entered incorrectly. Sometimes user IDs and or passwords include capitol letters, punctuation etc. One problem I’ve had a couple of times when entering a email address in my bank’s e-transfer list is, I copy and paste the address in the field. It has to be entered manually not just pasted. Hey don’t shoot the messenger, Just exploring all possibilities.

Yes, it can be done. I have my Jaws home annual license activated on
two laptops. On your computer you want to activate, login to the
portle, click activate this computer. You will be sent an executable.
Click on the executable in the downloads folder or wherever it is
saved, follow the prompts, and you should be all set.
