It’s possible that Windows has brought up a dialog asking you what program you want to use to access this content, with Adobe Digital Editions hopefully being one of the choices. When you open the book wait a few seconds and then press the tab key a couple of times and see if that dialog gains focus. Sometimes it appears with no audible indication sent to the screen reader.

I am attempting to use adobe edition 4.5, but when I open the book, nothing happens? I also don't seem to know how to authorize it.
I am using internet archive books.
Can anyone assist?
