Moderated new to chrome , to me, and strange

Hi all , using TB 101.1 and w10 newest bill, and Jaws 2022..
Opened TB this morning and on the top of the window is a chrome browser icon and my wife says a couple other icons like "prt", and my wife said the screen was split...HMMMMM and if I leave TB there is a"clear icon. What might be going on. I am a simple computer user, using TB, , getting some books from Bard, and a few other things. They are sure not making my old life any easier, or simpler....lol. If i press that "clear" button, what might I be clearing?? Hope not TB, but maybe the Google Chrome Icon??. Thanks -- Morey Worthington |

Hi, Morey. This may be because you have New Tab checked under Chrome, Settings, Appearance, and under Chrome, Settings, On Startup.

If Chrome is set this way, it will show all the recent tabs you have visited, and it will open to a new tab, when you start Chrome. Bill White billwhite92701@... -----Original Message-----
