Moderated strange issue with jaws 2023

friends, greetings. While playing the survive the wild [stw] when I try to open any program using the run dialogue, I am getting this message. Run dialogue, Open: edit combo ‑ chrome1 of 14To set the value use the Arrow keys or type the value. Alt+o And, simultaneously file explorer get launched. I’m totally confused that the issue is part of the jaws, curtana or the game. But I don’t see this on n v d a. Kindly help me to understand where the issue persist. |

Hey. It sounds like the run dialogue box is still opening. You copied a lot of extra stuff that doesn’t actually seem to be part of the run dialogue. So what happens when you just type in your run command as normal? The game could indeed be doing things to your display that interferes with jaws operation. I don’t know what that game is or anything about it, but the fact that this doesn’t happen when the game is off or when NVDA is running instead of JAWS seems to indicate that. But I suspect it is a display-related issue.

Hi As soon as I start typing in the run dialogue box, it just starts giving me the below mentioned alert. Cortana Alert!

The run dialogue box shouldn't invoke cortana *as well as, apparentlyy, openign the run box as it is supposed to do*...

But it seems like something is being intercepted or chagned with regard to keyboard input. Somehow this is happening only with JAWS, though I've no doubt it has got something to do with the game as well. -----Original Message-----

If you don’t care about using cortana, I would turn it off as suggested previously. Otherwise, there’s probablya keystroke youc an use to dismiss the alert, though I’m not sure what it is. If you just ignore the alert and keep typing, does the run command get issued, though? That’s what I was wondering.
