Funny thing is, that in Goldwave the time and percentage are actually
on the screen, you can track with the Jaws dcursor. I thought it was
the new version of gw at first.

Right from the time I first started using GoldWave and using JAWS as the main screen reader, All versions of JAWS up to 2022, reported the percentages as files were saved, and where progress bars are used in GoldWave.



However, in JAWS 2023, this is no longer the case. JAWS 2023, no longer speaks any progress bars in GoldWave. is anyone else experiencing the problem.



I am using Windows 10, JAWS 2023, and GoldWave 6.67, along with the GoldWave JAWS scripts.



If anyone has managed to solve this problem using JAWS 2023, please let me know.



So far, my only solution, is to go back to JAWS 2022, when I am using GoldWave.

With previous versions of JAWS prior to JAWS 2023, percentages on the progress bars for programs were spoken automatically. With JAWS 2023, in GoldWave, I route the JAWS cursor to the PC cursor, to make sure the JAWS cursor is in the window, then I use the NUM PAD PAGE UP, to go to the top of the window, then I press the NUM PAD DOWN ARROW once, to move to the second line, which holds the information about the time remaining and the ascending percentage.

Mine is reporting progress indicators. Make sure that the setting Progress
Bar Updates Announcement hasn't been turned off during the update.
