On most of my student computers, sharky doesn't work. I have checked the settings, verified there is a working microphone, said the wake word, press insert-alt-spacebar ... nada. No activation sound; no response.
Is anyone having problems with this command? Any idea what may be wrong??? |

Most of the time I just get it to tell me a joke, especially after updates. You supposedly can get it to do some commands that Jaws does, but I don’t know which ones.

Also, you can’t just say the word Sharkey, but it works with hey Sharky. And if you want to know a list of JAWS commands that it can do, just say, hey Sharkey, help. You should hear a sound after you say the hey Sharkey prompt that lets you know it’s listening. Hope that helps some.

I don't use Sharky much, but on my Windows 11 computer and JAWS 2023, Sharky works by just saying hay Sharky without pressing insert and spacebar.
