Moderated Announcing and not announcing unread messages in Outlook

Hello,
I used to have three email accounts in outlook. When I would open each account Jaws would announce the number of unread messages. Recently, I removed two of those email accounts from Outlook and have only one email account in Outllook now. Ever since I removed two of those three accounts, Jaws no longer announces the number of unread messages in my one account in Outlook.
Is there a setting or anything I can do to get Jaws to announce the number of unread emails in my one email account? I’m using Windows 10, Jaws 22, and Outlook 2016. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Windows key + up arrow maximizes a

With Outlook open, there’s a checkbox in JAWS quick settings for messages to be shown as unread. Open quick settings with JAWS key-v and in the edit field type “unread.” It should bring up the option.
