So this key changes things so you can hear Jaws speak, say over top of a youtube video? And is it a global command? Is it a permanent or temporary change?

My apologies if any of this has been answered already, but I had internet issues all weekend, well,, since Friday morning.

Simply use the layer command jawskey-space then d. I have so far not been able to use jaws 2023 and my dealer chided me saying I should have waited a bit longer. So I simply can’t test this on your behalf. I simply hope it will work for you.

Karen:

The insert space D command is a toggle, so it will stay where you set it, until you change it again.

Just hit esc ape once you set it according to your preference, and you should be good to go.

Some simple experimentation will let you know which setting you prefer.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one experiencing this, though I'm not happy that it is happening to anybody at all.

Anyway I found several other problems with 2023 that were problems for me so I went back to 2022 after reporting them to Vispero. Hopefully Vispero will have these problems fixed in the December update.
