Just got off of the phone with the disability desk.
I have both 22 and now 23 installed on my computer.
When using 22, I couldn't bring up the quick assist in jaws, but it did work
with NVDA.
I also since updating my computer, because there were updates to have
installed, the newer upgrades messed up my mail notification sound effects
as well.
So, I ended up calling the disability desk and they helped with my issues
and we starting talking about jaws.
Also, when I performed a win I for the settings, I could bring up the edit
filed, and I could hear the character echo while I was typing in my search,
but if I were to tab left or right, nothing, and if I tried any of the four
arrow keys to read, once again nothing.
Now the operator that I was working with me, had an interesting opinion.
He was saying that when there's a new release of JAWS, its like some items
that we take for granted in the previous version of jaws no longer works, in
that older version of jaws.
Simply because of having the newer version installed.
Just curious if anyone else will agree with me on my comments and will keep
a eye out for anyone else having issues with 22 after installing the newer
23 version of jaws.
