Gene Warner #101101 I am using a Dell Latitude E6540 that I got on Amazon for under $500. I am running 64 bit Windows 10 Home with JAWS 2022 July update (latest release). The laptop was used as it is no longer being sold by Dell but I specifically looked for one with a condition rating of excellent or like new. Mike Pietruk #101103 One way around the laptop keyboard problem can be the use of an external full-sized keyboard. Not only will this give one the use of all the standard desktop keys and combos, but, I find an external beyboard far easier to type on. I use a laptop when traveling; but only with an external kb as it, for me at least, eliminates the 2 downsides to laptops. Just a thought to keep in mind when considering a laptop.

After doing lots of shopping around I decided to go to HP’s site directly. I discovered that I could pick the parts I wanted. As a result, I ended up with the computer I was looking for. For example I have a MQ4810 i7 quad core CPU, that one probably only has an i5 dual core CPU. I also have a full 1920x1080 high definition screen while that one may only have a 1360x768 screen, and so on.
