Moderated Sources for all kind of jfw scripts

Daniel Sommerfeld

Hi all.

There are so many different kind of Jaws scripts out there.

Is there something like a website, that has them in one place?

Regards

Daniel

I have never seen one, and I agree that a central exchange for "home grown" JAWS scripts would be a very good idea indeed.

I can flatly see the advantages behind having permanent and consistent access  to a centralized repository for Jaws scripts, but sadly,  I don’t see this happening unless the Jaws scripting community  join forces.

Agreed.  The same has been true in the NVDA community, but it's now in the works, with the Spanish NVDA Community hosting a worldwide add-on repository with the eventual intent of NVAccess taking it over.

But being that Vispero has pretty much refused to have anything to do with such an idea, it would have to be, and remain, a community based effort for JAWS scripters and users.

A few years ago, a gentleman named David Feren  sorry Siri if I spelled your last name, wrong he had all kinds of Scripps and files on his webpage specifically for Jaws users. Unfortunately. He has decided to discontinue that list. I used in installing mini of his Scripps over the years. David, if you are monitoring this list, I hope you are doing well these days!

Hi Brian and all.

Yes, i think, it would really be a good idea. I mean, some of the scripts are free, some are pad... What i am trying to say is, that there are people behind some complex scripts, who put a lot of work into it and when they are spreaded all over the net, it is hard to find them and thair scripts. And from what i remember, some of them were damn good like the scripts for soundforge for example.
