Moderated Adding page numbers in Word 2016
Adrian Spratt
Hi.
Would someone please post step-by-step directions for how to add page numbers to a Word 2016 document? What I find on Google tends to require vision.
I had it worked out for Word 2010, but when I updated long ago to 2016, I cheated by creating a page-numbered template that I use as a starting point for new documents. I now have a heavily formatted document that I renamed in order to revise it, but although all that formatting carried over, the page numbers did not.
Thanks.

I don't have word 2016 to test out this theory, but I used to add page

numbers all the time and it sound right to me;. First go up to the insert tab then move through the options until you find something that references headers and footers. Once you enter you will find several options for what type of header you want. Jaws does a pretty good job of reading the various options. I probably don't hneed to say this, but I would make a second copy of your document to play around with until you figure what header type you want. I hope this helpful.
