Moderated Managing Notifications with Windows 11
David Kingsbury
Hi all, It seems that managing notifications is quite different between Windows 10 and 11. With Windows 10, it was fairly easy to add an app to the list of apps for which I receive notifications. I cannot figure out how to add an app to Windows 11 notifications. For example, I would like to add Dropbox to the list of apps for which I receive notifications. Any ideas on how to do this? Thanks, David

Hi David,
Press, Windows key + I, to go to Settings, tab 1 time
into the list of categories and press enter on, System.
Tab a few times to the Listbox of categories, now down
arrow to, Notifications, and press enter. of. This is where you
should be able to turn, Dropbox, on to receive notifications.
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. ----- Original Message -----

I also want to emphasize, again, that one of the very best things to come down the pike in the Windows 10 and 11 eras is settings search. You can find your way, often directly, to settings that are "buried deep" if you do a settings search on even just a part of the setting name (or "fuzzy" human equivalent, as it does do fuzzy matching).

Hi Mike, Thanks for this. I did find it after sending my email yesterday. I initially had trouble because, after getting to the right place, I had to tab about a million times until I got to the app I wanted to enable/disable. David |
