I have been on the front desk of our local blind society reading through things and sighted people have asked how on earth can I understand what it is saying. This is on a lower speed then I am use to because it is a computer a number of blind people use so I couldn't leave it at the speed I am use to or the next blind person might not be able to understand it so therefor they wouldn't be able to slow it down. But I agree that if you're someone who can listen to a synth going at lightning speed, and I know many blind users who do just that, the probability that any listening ears beyond those with that same skillset understanding anything is very small indeed. type of devices, to make a pocket size TV.
Currently I'm doing this with an HDMI to VGA that
has audio out, but it uses a short cable that I fold in half, but an HDMI dummy
would be better if it has audio out.
I've asked for this information on the Amazon.com
site on these, but nobody ever answered my question.

The very reason for being of the screen shade is to prevent "over the shoulder" viewing, by anyone, when that's what you wish to prevent. Once the screen is off, it's off until you either flip the toggle, unload/exit JAWS, or reboot. The reboot part may not still be accurate if a setting has been added to make screen shade persistent unless you turn it off, but I have not heard anything about that. A screensaver alone should work for you, or the

I ask because this is mainly what my nieces like to see on my laptop. The screen shade will stop anyone else using the computer because none of my family knows how to use Jaws but my nieces will be disappointed if they can’t see the pictures.
