We have that same issue with the router that came with Spectrum. The tech who came out suggested the Asus router that they list will work on their website with their equipment. You might want to find out which routers work with their equipment and then find out which one is accessible.

My ISP stopped allowing third-party modems.
I used to by mine from their recommended modems, but then they replaced mine with one of their own and decided that they would rather charge for leasing them to everyone.
I'm in the process now of switching from Sparklight to Allo, for multiple reasons.
I'm glad my town finally quit the practice of only letting the one exclusive company and allowed other companies to come in for competition.

I’m with Spectrum in Fontana. I don’t think the router is the issue as
much as the modem. Since I’ve been with them, I think I’ve used  a
TP-Link, Linksys and have been using an Eero mesh WiFi system for the
past four or so years now. Where you do have to pay attention I
believe is the modem that you use if you want to use your own which is
generally the better choice. You don’t have to pay the expensive
monthly rental fee and you can get a much better modem than what
you’re usually given by your ISP. Checking my Amazon order history,
looks like I bought my ARRIS Surfboard SB6190 back in June of 2016. I
just had to call Spectrum at the time and read them off the Mac or
whatever number off of the modem so they could ping or register it and
I was good to go. Other than that, it’s been plug and play and forget
about it but for a few area outages. From what I recall, navigating
the TP-Link and Linksys with Jaws were accessible enough to do what I

We have that same issue with the router that came with Spectrum. The tech who came out suggested the Asus router that they list will work on their website with their equipment. You might want to find out which routers work with their equipment and then find out which one is accessible.

I forgot to mention, The EE router, does have a web interface but, as I said before, there are buttons which are not standard HTML buttons, which is why JAWS will not recognize them.

That is open source firmware that gives more functionality to a router.
