Moderated How to invoke Search for Messages command in Outlook 2021

Hello all,
I have Outlook 2021. I used to be able to invoke the search command on Outlook 2021 for e-mail messages in a specific folder by pressing F3 key. But now it doesn’t work. I have no clue on how I can pull up the search command for e-mail messges. Would you please help? I have JAWS 2022 current build.

Then it sounds like Outlook 2021 is even more substantially changed from previous versions. Assuming 365 follows these changes, I’m going to stick with Outlook 2016 for as long as it’s supported.

Hello Lenore,
I am a rookie-rookie but I do have Outlook 2021.
I think you can press Alt+H, then Shift+tab once, and you are at the search edit box. I am not sure if this is what you want or if there is a quickjer way, but I hope it helps.

I do not have that specific version of Outlook, but I use control E, then type my search criteria, and then tab five times to get to the list of results. See if this works for you.

I use ctrl-shift-f, would you believe? In Word it is the font dialog, but in outlook it is advanced find.

Hello Rod,
You hit the head with the nail! Actually, in my case, I needed to do the shit plus tab twice before I was able to find the edit box. Then I tabbed around and used arrow keys and also found Advanced Search as wel..
To those who answered with Contro plus e, that command doesn’t work on either wireless keyboard or the laptop keyboard, sory to tell you this.

I have a laptop and a PC and Control + “e” works on both, but it’s great there are different ways to do the same thing. Don’t have a bluetooth keyboard though.
