Open Chrome to any webpage. now use, Control+Shift+Delete. This will bring up the Clear Browsing History page. Select the Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files, depending on your needs. finally, Click Clear. so, the short answer is that you are given an opportunity to select how much you actually want cleared before any clear happens. this is the same key combination when starting the clear process, in Chrome & Edge
