David:
Wow, thank you, that worked. As you can imagine, this issue was a major productivity killer.

Hi Randy, Also using the most up to date JAWS 2022 and Word 365, I have the same experience as you, initially just hearing JAWS say “revised.” Try the following. 1. Press Windows semi colon to open a virtual viewer. 2. Down arrow to revisions and press Enter. You hear how many revisions are in the document. 3. If you down arrow here, you will clearly hear the types of revisions. 4. Press Escape to exit the virtual viewer. 5. Go through the document and you will now hopefully hear the types of revisions. Don’t ask me why this worked for me, but it did. It might work for you too. Hope this helps. Regards, David

I have used track changes in MS Word without an issue until recently. Prior
to a couple of weeks ago, it would say inserted, when someone inserted new text in the editing process and say deleted when someone deleted text. This was nice and easy to follow with track changes. Now, JAWS just says revised when someone has made a suggested insertion or deletion using track changes in MS Word. I am using the latest version of JAWS 2022 and the latest version of Office 365 downloaded to my computer. If you have any ideas as to why I am not hearing inserted or deleted in MS Word with track changes, and instead I am just hearing revised, whether it is an insertion or deletion, I would appreciate your help.
