if you have a 64-bit version of Windows (which you almost certainly do if you're using anything newer than Windows 7), this is what you want to download and install:
https://get.videolan.org/vlc/3.0.16/win64/vlc-3.0.16-win64.exe If, by chance, you are using an old 32-bit machine, which is unlikely, then go with this: https://get.videolan.org/vlc/3.0.16/win32/vlc-3.0.16-win32.exe -- Brian - Windows 10, 64-Bit, Version 21H1, Build 19043 Science has become just another voice in the room; it has lost its platform. Now, you simply declare your own truth. ~ Dr. Paul A. Offit, in New York Times article, How Anti-Vaccine Sentiment Took Hold in the United States, September 23, 2019

This is my tale of woes. I downloaded “The Nine Lives of Christmas” and couldn’t find it in my Hallmark folder. When I did a search for it, it appeared to be in the VLC folder and I couldn’t delete it. So, I deleted the entire VLC folder. I enjoy using VLC and tried installing one that said it was for windows but it also asked me to install kernel exe. It told me how to go to an older version but I got confused. Help please!!

Thanks for all the help I’ve received before this last question. Some times I believe I forget to reply to the sender so I am taking this time to tell everyone thanks.
