I must be having a brain freeze, because I’m having trouble remembering the keystrokes for being able too check the battery status level on my laptop computer with jaws 2021.

If you are using the Desktop keyboard layout, it is insert+shift+b unless you have set the caps lock key as a modifier for Jaws.

The System Tray is one way to get it but if you want it immediately without hunting Insert+Shift+b as in battery.

I just go into the notification bar. Or where the time, network status etc. shows up. Generally there it tells you the battery strength.

What do you do to get the time? Do you press Jaws Key + F12 or do you press Jaws Key + F11 to bring up the system try and then arrow down to where the time is displayed? Same difference, the system try has the information, but the keyboard shortcuts is there for quick access to said information.

Sieghard, Some people like the scenic route and others like the highway.
Also, the insert+capslock+b only works if CapsLock is set as a jaws modifier key. I use the straight on highway of insert+shift+b.
I only like the scenic route when I’m traveling and have time.
