moderated Browser

Interesting, not something I experienced when I used Brave as my default browser for a few weeks, but my primary complaint was that I had to constantly provide login information for certain web pages whereas in Edge and Chrome that would be remembered for a cdertain period of time. One example is the point of sale system we use, Lightspeed Retail, if I log in with Edge or Chrome and close the browser and then click on my shoertcut again within a certain period o ftime like 5 or 10 minutes I would automatically get signed in again. With Brave if I close the browser accidently even if it's for a few seconds I always had to enter my user Id and password again.

I am now using the Brave browser.

Nor do I, but I attribute that to using the uBlock Origin extension on every Chromium-based browser, and its equivalent under Firefox, on all browsers that don't have ad blocking built-in (e.g., Brave and Vivaldi).

I haven't used a web browser without ad blocking in decades (probably 2 at this point).  I jumped on that bandwagon as soon as it appeared.

I have no ads with Edge. But I also do not use their default Bing search, but rather my home page is duckduckgo.com
