Hi,
I'm working on resubscribing to all the lists I'm
on, because my ISP is discontinuing eMail service to its customers.
Does anyone know if anyone is managing
Blind-L?
I sent a subscribe to the list, but nothing has
come back.

I don't know. But perhaps, if the group is on groups.io, you could go online and just change your email address. Instead of constantly subscribing to groups. If you need help doing this, please let me know. And I will be glad to walk you through the steps.

Yes, It is not on groups.io, I did that and changed all those at once from the web page already.

Okay, please let me know what you find. I did a quick google search and the one address I found to subscribe I got a delivery failure email. I am on a list that sounds rather similar to the blind-l list, if you’d like the subscription address then please just let me know.

The owner had passed away, and it may be going

Blind L was the first Email list i joined back in
1995, but i don't think it has existed for years. It resided on the university
of Arkansas server, but these days everything has pretty much gone to web based
servers.
I do not recall it being moved to another web
host.

Here’s the subscription address for the other list I mentioned earlier: vicug-l-subscribe-request@... It’s very similar to the blind-l list only, it’s actually being managed.

There are some groups that just fade into oblivion because of non-use. One guide dog group, the moderator said he got an email from yahoo stating his group would be dissolved because of no one posting to it. It was never migrated over to another group.

Blind-L does get a few, I don't know if there are more than of a handful of members though.
