Hi this might help with the PDF book..

Open the PDF book you are trying to read then try this.

Press Insert space followed by the leter O and this will open the OCR layer.

Press the leter P for PDF and it shold start scaning the PDF file that has been opened.

It wil then scan the PDF and pull out the images. If this work then you should get the text.
