Moderated Shortcut Command For Zoom Settings Menu

Tom Behler

Hello.

Does anyone know of a shortcut key to get to the settings menu in Zoom?

I can usually tab around and find it, but sometimes the tabbing doesn’t get me there consistently.

Thanks!

If you are talking about the settings that you use when you are in a meeting, alt control shift will bring it up. Then just tab to the one that you want and press space bar.

If you are talking about when you are on zoom.us, this won’t work.

Hello.

I’m talking about basic zoom settings, such as microphone settings, etc..

I can sometimes get to the settings menu using the tab key when in the general Zoom window, but it’s not always consistent.

In my experience, the general Zoom window is the alternate window you can access via the Alt Tab function when in a Zoom meeting.  It’s not the window pertaining to  a specific Zoom meeting.

I hope this clarifies things a bit.

Hi, Tom. The Settings button should appear right after the "drop down" menu that shows your name and status. If you see the drop down menu, and don't get the Settings button when you TAB once, try SHIFT plus TAB.

It does, a bit.

Next time you are in a meeting, try hitting alt control and ahift. Then tab. It will take you to audio settings for your microphone and speakers. Another tab will bring you to video on and off. And so forth. Actually, the first time you hit tab should take you to the mute and unmute button.

Thom

Just to clarify, are you saying the command is alt control shift?

Thanks!
